Gary L. Lewis

Gary L. Lewis was born in Statesville, North Carolina, in 1969. After earning his degree in Political Science and Psychology from the University of North Carolina, in 1995, Mr. Lewis moved to Florida and attended the University of Miami School of Law. In 1998, he received his Doctor of jurisprudence, was admitted to the Florida Bar, and began practicing law.

Mr. Lewis focuses exclusively on representing injury victims and their families. He practices with an emphasis in cases involving serious personal injury and wrongful death.

Although dedicated to helping victims and their families, Mr. Lewis has inside knowledge of how his opponents work. When he began practicing law in 1998, Mr. Lewis began practicing law he defended doctors and health care institutions in medical malpractice cases. In 2003, he relocated from Tampa to Orlando to accept a position defending a nationally recognized hospital chain.

In 2009, after gaining over 10 years of experience working for the other side, Mr. Lewis changed his focus to representing injury victims. His areas of practice include product liability, wrongful death, motor vehicle accidents, trucking liability, medical malpractice, personal injury, civil trial practice, and contract and business litigation.

Mr. Lewis is a member of the Florida Bar, Orange County Bar Association, and Marion County Bar Association. He has been certified by the Florida Supreme Court as a circuit-civil court mediator, and by the U.S. District Court as a mediator for the Middle District of Florida.

Mr. Lewis is a member of the Florida Justice Association (FJA). The FJA works to protect the rights of individuals and consumers.
